A wireless total stop system for pressure washers is another safe total stop method for electric pressure washers over the usual wired pressure switch TSS. There is no pressure switch activation required, and thus none of the associated pressure related issues that plague pressure switch TSS’s.
Both TSS methods have pros and cons which will be covered to help you choose the best TSS for your electric pressure washer. Both also share the same important benefit: They ensure electric pressure washer pumps last much longer! In short, regardless if you go with a mechanical pressure switch or an electronic wireless switch, you’ll increase pump life.
I’ll go over the components of a wireless TSS, how they work, how to pair the transmitter to the receiver and how to fit the transmitter into a pressure washer gun/lance.
Then we’ll test operation and working range of the remote control total stop system.

Green Canpump’s pressure washers, like many commercial grade pressure washer & mister system manufacturers have been in business for many years and have full parts support. They are also Canadian based, and as a Canadian, that was also important to me for future parts & product support.
These are the main reasons I have finally given up on big box store pressure washers after decades of throwing my money away in the false economy of disposable washers with little to no parts support.
I should have purchased one of these better commercial grade grade pressure washers with a proper triplex pump years ago, but I just didn’t know any better. My last horrible experience with a Greenworks Pro brushless motor pressure washer, which cost a lot of money, didn’t even last 3 years (brushless motor control module failed & not available as a spare part); that was the final straw!
If you too are fed up with the false economy of big box store pressure washers, do yourself a favor and invest in a commercial grade unit with a long lasting and serviceable triplex pump from a reputable brand. For weekly residential use, they should last many years if not decades, provided they are looked after and serviced as required. In the long run, they will save time, money and frustration.
